I prefer Donner's interface which provides an interface already constructed, ready for easy installation (see their web site). Many operate without any interface by connecting the Ten Tec cable supplied with the radio between the radio and the sound input and output terminals of the computer. In this way you use the Omni's VOX circuit to control the transmit and receive. You will need to purchase adapters to convert the phono female connectors on the end of the Ten Tec cable to accomodate the small mini plugs most computers accept. Charles, K0CW |
