Finally rebuilding the Triton 540 PTO here. Step says to grease the threads inside the pistol. Done. But are you supposed to also grease the outside surface of the 1/2-inch or so diameter core (medium gray color, with ribs) which moves in/out of the PTO coil? I don't recall degreasing the inside of the PTO core when I took all this apart (been a couple months) so I'm guessing no but wanted to check with the list.
