The narrower Inrads have a lot of loss. It's specified on their data sheets. 
The 
only thing about that that's ever bothered me is that it causes the S-meter in 
my 
TS850 to read lower than it otherwise would. I've never used Inrads in an Omni 
of 
any vintage.
