Paul, For power supplies to any 100 watt radio, I use a minimum no. 12 stranded wire, formed into a twisted pair. If you have a radio and other accessories drawing more than 20 amps, I would use no. 10 wire. Use of heavy enough wire lugs crimped to the wire or soldered properly is also essential to low voltage drop in leads.
