Leonard; I hear what you are saying but on my Orion2 the (off:H) means the blanker is on and (off:) means it is off. The menu option in the RX menu follows the display. I could never figure out why TT has that option in the RX menu. Anyway, I do not experience what you are talking about if I understand you correctly that even if the HW blanker is off it is still influencing the receive???
