I believe Heath Kit made a bifilar wound open air coil, and it use to match
4:1, 50 to 300 or 75 to 450 ohms coil. Thats before Ferrous type cores were
used for you young folk. It was installed in series, at the output of the TUBE
transmitter, like a DX 60. I do not remember the power rating of it. I use to
have one. Not sure if it had issues on 10 meters or not. Coil was about 8
inches long. about 2 or 3 inches in diameter. No capacitors, but its been too
long ago.
