There may be other acceptable ways of doing this, such as using the 
tapped primary of another transformer as an autotransformer to feed a 
small 110 volt load, or even a series resistor. Connecting a 110 volt 
load between a hot lead and ground IS NEVER, EVER ACCEPTABLE!
