I don't think there's really a need to do an end-to-end alignment.
Experience with my Paragon, purchased new in 1991, is that the only
things that goes out of alignment are the crystal oscillators, due to
crystal aging and oxidation of the trimmer caps. The manual tells how to
align the BFO frequencies. It doesn't give specific instructions on the
PBT oscillator, but its easy to figure this out from the circuit
description. I would not attempt to align passband filters, because I
don't have a sweep generator.

I too am puzzled. The manuals that I have received from Tentec with the
equipment that I purchased has a written circuit description, a schematic,
and a component layout. And where appropriate, a written alignment
procedure.
If you don't have a manual, they are available for purchase from Tentec.
When I sold my equipment, also supplied, to the buyer, the manual that came
with the equipment. It often contained my pencil notes, thus they can be
easily erased, and figures from my operational or alignment notes or
performance data.
What's missing?

Subject: Re: [TenTec] OMNI6 PLUS Alignment procedure needed
I have an Omni 6 and an Omni 6+ and the manuals seem to be pretty detailed
to me. Most of the manual is devoted to descriptions of componets and
service information.
What is it that I am missing here? I would think that with the
information
supplied that any person with an electronics back ground could service
them.
