Mine reads about a little less than 1/3 S-unit with RF Gain at 100 and AGC
threshold below .5 uV, which is about the same as in SSB transmit keyed, but
no audio.

Thanks to all who responded to my tuning knob and S meter post.
As for the S meter - it reads right at 100 key down in cw.
Hitting the ptt makes the meter drop to about 1/2 a division above zero.
So it appears to be acting normally in tx modes.
Can anyone tell me what their meter reads on rx with no antenna?
