For some newcomers and maybe others as well. I have several Ten Tec xcvrs
newer than a Corsair II in use. However now and then its nice to bring up
something older or different for a change of pace.
For those not wanting to overhaul a badly drifting and wandering PTO, a simple
solution is to install a Stabilizing Kit offered by K4DPK.
Makes a Corsair or older Omni as stable as your Pet Rock. (perhaps other makes
& models as well)
I can and do have a hour long high speed cw QSO's with fellow using very
narrow filter with no detectable drift. This is from a cold start.
Just thought someone may be interested. Merry Xmas everyone.
