One good reason that I don't like to have references to said site made
on the list.
No offense, Ron!
I have the Scout's 5w little brother, the Argo 556, that I'm considering
selling, and I have
all nine band modules, 160-10m. While I hate to turn down offers for
individual modules,
it seems to me that the radio would sell better if I came with all nine
modules. On the other
hand, some buyers might not want, say, 160m due to the fact that they
can't put up a decent
antenna on that band.
You know, I just read what you wrote more carefully, and noticed that
you said * four *
modules for $200. Since the fairly-standard value has been about $65
each, wouldn't that
qualify as something as a bargain? Or was that not the final selling price?
I could be reading this wrong - wouldn't be the first time.
