Yes, a firmware upgrade might be in order. On the Paragon, I can step through the memories using the main tuning knob.

How does the Argonaut V step through the memories?

I don't know about the "manipulate" function, since this would imply a
program that would control the O II, but I have found SW management
software that looks intriguing. I haven't tried it myself. Its called
Harvester. Check it out:
