The Omni V, unless you want a general coverage receiver for short wave
listening. From all reports, the Paragon II was better than the
Paragon (and the Paragon isn't bad), but the Omni V and VI used a
conversion scheme that resulted in much less phase noise, and
therefore had the better receivers for demanding conditions in the ham
bands.
