A month or so ago, someone was asking about a source for these, and the price. I bought some a year ago, and looked pretty good for the best deal, which turned out to be Allied. Mouser was second best. Allied was $21.24 for 1-14, $19.50 for 15-24, $18.55 for 25 Mouser was $23.93 for 1-9, $21.65 for 10-24, $19.37 for 25 Today, I finished re-working a Titan (my 3rd) that I had acquired around the first of the year. Then I replaced one cap. I let it sit since then, needing some other work. Today, I fired it up, and it was drawing too much grid current, had only about 1.6kV, and had some ripple. I replaced one more cap, and it's now loafing at 1.5 kW. 73, Jim K9YC |
