Another cooling idea for Omnis. I use a 12 inch long threaded rod, No. 8 or
10
with a 3 inch computer fan sandwiched between two nuts at one end of the
rod. then three inches from the fan put a nut and a one inch washer, padded
with rubber. then use heat shrink on rod the width of heat sink so rod don't
scratch sink. Then another padded washer and a wing nut to sandwich heat
sink between two padded washers. Put in top slot of the heat sink with
point of fan down and use another one in series on P S to slow them down.
Very quiet and the sink just barely gets warm. Ed K7UC
