Ten Tec's Tuner tuner Antenna noise bridge modulated with a tone, is a great way to tune up a tuner/ antenna combination to a 50 ohm match without putting the transmitter of your rig on the air. The visual meter reading of the Antenna analyzer is replaced by the nulling of the tone in your receiver, that is produced by the Ten Tec bridge when off 50 ohm match. This is a quick way to do the matching, while you are visually watching the SWR meter or your tuner control settings.

You just have to be sure to not transmit into the noise bridge after you are tuned up. Be sure to switch it out of the circuit going to the antenna tuner and antenna.

The kit was a one evening project and reasonable in cost.
