I have found a supplier (in the UK) for the exact sized EL panels as replacements for the pathetic ones in the Argonaut II and Delta. The colour is a pale blue-green, similar to the ones on Lumibrite watches. I did the replacement last night and it took me all of 20 minutes. I just cut the two leads, slid the old one out, slid the new one in and re-soldered the leads. If you don't fancy soldering the leads, the panel has a fly lead with a mini 2-pin socket. It's transformed the display. If any of you need any more information, give me a shout. 73 Bob MM0RKT _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
