Tod, I using a normal 9-pin to 25-pin serial cable from the PC to the OmniVI. I think it is a "cross-over" cable but I'm not sure on that. I cancheck if you wish. I have mine set to 19200bps, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit. You also need to set the software up for an Icom IC-735. I've read that IC-703 may work also but I have not tried it. I finally got it to work!! You can test you serial connection by hooking up the cable, opening a term and then powering up the Omni while holding the FM key.
