I always though of the Orion as a 'Republican' radio: It doesn't 'tax' your
budget, it's not 'multi-cultural', the government didn't buy it for me and
most folks describe the audio as "fair and balanced"! ;~>
Oh, no, sir, it's most definitely NOT a "republican" radio: it taxes you
by requiring you to pursue excellent antennas to get the absolute most
out of the receiver (and antennas, even good ones, don't have to cost
big bux), it IS multi-cultural in all the modes it offers, and its audio
on transmit is ACTUALLY fair and balanced, not like that "sly news
channel". I will admit, however, that the gubmint did not buy it for
me, something the bushies would never, ever do -- and I've no problem
with that.
