Sorry to hear of your problem. If the lightning got into the PC, it probably got to the O2 through the com port. I lost a Yaesu 847 that way years ago. When there are thunderstorms predicted, I disconnect the antennas and the com port from my O1.

Well, it finally found me...

Around noon or so a thunderstrom formed very fast almost overhead. Antennas were disconnected, but had a very close strike near my 60 m Force 12 Sigma 80 vertpcal dipole. I don't think it was a direct hit. Anyway, heard a sound like a firecracker in the shack.
