There is nothing to replacing the encoder, at least for me. TT has them.
I replaced mine several years ago. To get back on the air, one can
replace the wires going to the RIT encoder with the wires that go to the
main encoder. You won't have RIT, but the RIT encoder is now your main
tuning encoder. This is a TT test to see if the main encoder is really
causing the problem.
Seems like the wire numbers were 55, 56, 57, 58 or something close to that. This was about 9 years ago. 73, Ariel, k4aal |
