The four-pin connector wiring is:
Pin 1 - White - Signal
Pin 2 - Shield - Ground
Pin 3 - Black - PTT Line
Pin 4 - Plus Electret Voltage (7 to 14 VDC
The stereo 1/4" phone connections are:
Tip - Black PTT Line
Band - White - Signal
Sleeve - Shield Ground
I suspect wwthat what you are calling yellow is what is shown as white in
the schematic and should be the signal lead
