I found what effects the CW sidetone "echo" sound I reported on my Orion II:
When the headphones are set to 'Both' in both Left and Right, there is an echo.
Also, the sidetone sounds great when listening only to the Main alone at any
CW Rise/Fall setting, but running only on Sub in the 'phones, the sidetone
sounds like the weighting is set for 200% (I know...it only goes to 150%!).
Changing the Rise/Fall time changes the sidetone weighting characteristic when
listening to the Sub.
I usually run with Left headphone set to Main and Right on Both, which sounds
OK, but I can hear some of the effect on Rise/Fall times >5 mS.
Anyone else with an O2 hear this and is this happening on the original Orions?
