Well, I powered the radio off, due to storms, and then back on and now the RF 
gain appears to be working normally. Please forget all after "In early testing."

  In early testing of V2.060b it appears that although the RF gain control 
effects the S-Meter reading, it doesn't appear to have any effect on the radio 
RF gain. I'd appreciates others observations.
