On the Unofficial Ten Tec site in the "links" area is the mod for a Omni V
to bring it down to QRP levels. I'm using the ALC off and using the drive to
lower power but it drifts a bit up. Not a major problem but wondering if a
similar mod of some sort could be done ?????
OMNI V QRP Mod -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mod: Provides a means lowering the power output to QRP levels. Procedure:Paul Clinton, Ten-Tec's Service Manager, advises to replace R46 on the 9 MHz Filter Board from 100K-ohm to10K-ohm @ 1/4 watt. This brings the Omni V's minimum output level to QRP. 73s George , N2JNZ |
