I wouldn't consider a Scout because: Old rig and you say you have trouble doing repair work Band modules are a pain to handle/store - also getting harder to find. Old technology Jumps around in frequency You said you wanted QRP - it is 50w and a real power hog. Better TT choice is the Argo V - get one used in the $600 - $650 range. They are pretty expensive new. It is a current production rig with good DSP filtering, 20w, very easy to hook up for PSK. I have one and love it.
