I don't think your power output problem is related to the firmware,
otherwise everyone's O2 would do the same thing. Try calling the factory
and they may be able to resolve the problem.

Hello all, I know the Omni VII is the current show stealer, but I think TT
needs to be working on the software for the O2 as well. The NR/NB system
needs some help, as well as several other areas like power output (mine is
110 watts on 75m, but drops to 75 watts on 10m.) I hope a firmware upgrade
is soon forthcoming for the 02.
I also have a suggestion on the NR system... I suggest that it be made a
separate download with several versions available so as to satisfy the
(noise reduction with signal preservation) vs. (the signal popping up out
of the existing noise) crowds, and they can choose which works best for
them.
I find the NR works quite well on signals stronger than about an S-4 on my
meter. But for weaker signals and extremely weak signals, the NR adds alot
of distortion & hurts more than helps. Ten Tec...are you reading this?
