Another interesting point was that someone mentioned the pleasure of
building at least a part of one's station. Well, one part that you can build is a wired, or wireless, high speed local area network all around your property to allow yourself the pleasure of operating from the picnic table

It only counts if you actually BUILD IT yourself.  "Building" is distinct
from the act of hooking somebody else's stuff together :-)
