I've got an Idiom Press K-3 and like it more than any other keyer I have
ever tried. I don't know what is different about the K-5. Presumably it
is at least as good as the K-3. I don't think you can go wrong
purchasing either one.
Idiom Press's K-3 or their newer K-5 are great keyers and have those featuers you mentioned.I bought a CMOS 4 keyer to address keyer memory especially for contests.I also bought a PICO keyer and plan to install it inside the 516 later. I am using it now for the HW9 with much success.I recently purchased a new Argonaut 516, impressed with the radio but sure miss a memory keyer |
