I know this is a silly request, but I am willing to pay shipping both ways. I will only need it for a day or two. My problem is that I think the 500 Hz filter is going 'South' in my Omni-C... probably a bad crystal. This past weekend during the CW contest I noted noticeably weakened signals when going to that filter position. So much so that many normally marginal signals in the 2.4 or 1.8 kHz positions were simply gone in the 500 Hz position. Anyway, before I go out and buy a replacement filter I'd like to know if I have a problem or just imagining a problem. My Corsair II does NOT attenuate like this, but as a newer design it may have additional gain built in to compensate. As its 500 Hz filter is on a different IF frequency I can't swap them.
