Hi, gang: I'm fixing up a decent-looking 540 for a friend. It has the usual sagging dial cord and "not as smooth as one would like" PTO. I know there are fixes for these, but the one thing the rig doesn't have is a user manual. So, I'm looking to purchase one -- or a halfway decent copy -- for a price more reasonable than Ten-Tec's $30 plus postage. By the time I align the radio, fix the dial cord and lube the PTO, I'm gonna be in the red...so I'm trying to limit my downside here on the manual :) Any help, sources, references, etc, will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Kirk, NT0Z |
