TenTec AC-5 antenna tuner
I found a TenTec AC-5 antenna tuner that has been hiding
for a while.
For those who might not know, an AC-5 is an antenna tuner
that was made to go with the TenTec "PM" series of low
power rigs from the 60's and 70's. This is a manual antenna
tuner -- as in one must manually clip on to the proper tap of
the inductor. The variable cap is adjustable from the front
panel. The cosmetics match the PM series, and also the
Argonaut 505 and 509. There is no top cover (never was
any), as one must move the clip on the coils.
This tuner works fine, and looks exceptionally nice.
