I suppose if you don't mind losing the SSB capability of the
Corsair you could substitute the 2.4kHz wide 1st IF filter
with either the 217 (500hz) or 219 (250hz) 9MHz filter. Would
not likely do much with the AGC behavior but should improve
the close-in dynamic range some.
