Probably most folks who want a tuner in their TT radio order it that way.
The secondary market is probably very small (rig changes hands, new owner
wants a tuner, or, owner changes his mind and wants to add the tuner.) Not
enough business to justify carrying (or even developing?) the tuner. I have
to hand it to product developers who develop products never knowing if the
marketplace will become established or not.
