Mark, the roofing filters on 1.373b5 or b3 don't kick in at the same place relative to the dsp bandwidth filter as they do in 1.372. In 1.372 the bandwidth of the roofing filters kicks in when the dsp bandwidth reaches the bandwidth of the roofing filter, when going narrower. That is, when you have your roofing filter selection set to automatic, and you turn your bandwidth control narrower, the 2.4 khz filter kicks in at 2.4 khz, the 1 khz filter kicks in at 1 khz, etc on down.

But in 1.373, the roofing filters won't kick in right away. There is a lag kicking in the roofing filters regardless of whether you are narrowing or widening the dsp filter. So you may have a dsp filter of 970 hz, say, and a roofing filter of 2.4 khz, and have to go to 960 hz with the dsp control until the 1 khz roofing filter kicks in. Then as you widen the dsp filter you may not get back to the 2.4 khz roofing filter until you hit 1.040 khz with the dsp control.

No biggie, but I prefer 1.372. --Brent N9HZ
