This is a decision that depends a lot on the individual since everyone's
tolerance for problems varies. It sounds to me like the problems are
simply due to your rig being old and owned a few times. I had a C2 in
similar shape--a Ten Tec PTO rebuild really didn't do much for mine. You
didn't want a project rig, so if I were you, I'd get rid of it, eat the
loss, forget it, and move on. Life is too short as it is. I've been burned
big time a couple of times so I know how you feel, but you'll be a lot
happier if you put it behind you and start buying rigs from people you know,
or reputable dealers.
