5 watts will never be seen to who you are talking to. Run you're radio at 95
or even 90 and save you're radio. I wouldn't worry about 5 watts. If it gets
down to 80, then maybe worry a little bit about it.
That current limiter has saved a lot of guys bacon over the years.
