While I have never had a problem like that, I have heard that doing a Master RAM Reset can fix problems that result from a scramble in the memory. Take a look at:

http://www.rfsquared.com/cms-files/help.txt

Also, the v. 2.034 firmware is better than 2.033, especially if you ever run AM.

Over the past few days I've noticed my O2 has been sounding like the audio
is coming through a pipe or barrel??? Small but noticeable.
I've tried enabling and disable everything. I checked all the menu settings
and they have not changed.
I re-set the O2 and put the menus back to normal and all is well as the rig
sounds normal now. I'm running 2.033 and the rig was received in December.
Is this a one time'er?
George
