I sold my Paragon before your Giehl Chip arrived so I forwarded it on to the
new owner of the Paragon.
However, it does not work and Larry, the new owner, called Jack Giehl to
make sure he was doing everything correctly. Jack told him that he was
installing it correctly and that the chip must be defective.
The person who bought the Paragon and talked with Jack Giehl is LAWRENCE A
TRAHAN, N1YW. He is good on QRZ if you want to talk with him. I am sure Jack
Giehl will remember talking with Larry if you want to talk with him. Larry
is expecting a $50 refund since I sold him the Paragon with the
understanding that he would get a working Giehl Chip for it. He has already
ordered another one form Jack Giehl. He is sending me back the Giehl Chip
you sold me. When I get it I will forward it on to you. I am going to send
Larry a $50 refund and I would appreciate it you would send me a $50 refund
when you get the defective chip. I will absorb the shipping costs both ways.

TenTec 256 FM module
This module adds FM (both transmit and receive)
to the Paragon 585 and the Omni V 562, and maybe
others. It works fine, and includes all cables and
paper work for $85.
TenTec 258, RS-232 interface for Paragon
This option adds a DB-25 connector on the rear of
the Paragon, along with a board inside, and some
cabling, so that it can "talk" to a computer via an
RS-232 serial link. This is an extremely rare option.
It works 100%. Paper work included for $100.
Giehl Chip Firmware upgrade for Paragon 585.
This is a new EPROM that essentially upgrades the
585 Paragon to most of the features of a Paragon II.
With paper work for $50.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
