I would use 1.373b5. It is stable and
has both AGC Threshold / RF Gain integrated
into the front panel RF GAIN control which is
much more intuitive for someone not completely
familiar with Orion. I would also suggest you
preset settings for CW and SSB into USER 1 & 2
so that an operator can recover if they get
the settings messed up (include a note about
how to recall them).
