I have a small Olympus digital recorder. It has a built in condensor mic,
but also has a standard 1/8" external input. The good thing about it is the
recordings can be instantly ported and saved to your PC. The thing is
small, but amazingly great audio from the small built in speaker. You can
find them for 50 bucks or less at Target. I found the model number at the
stores, then picked it up on ebay for half the amount.
Good luck!
....Dave

Subject: [TenTec] recording devise for Omni 6+
Hello Guys:
Surely someone has already done this. I have an Omni 6+ and the audio
out jack on the back is 1 mw at 600 ohms. I am looking for a device to
record cw from this jack. I prefer a cassette recorder but what I have
found that could work(?) is in the $100 range. I am hoping for something
cheaper. The cheap one have no audio input jack or only USB or a built-in
mic. Any one have experience with this problem please send me a line or
two off list: kj4zm@arrl.net
