So I left the cover with them and came back 2 days later and picked up the paint. I got it home and read the small print on the label they attched to tha can. It turns out it a gloss finish. All the Ten Tec rigs I've seen with this color are a flat finish. Unfortunately it's not returnable. I don't want a shiny finish on the rig. Guess I'm out the $40.00 and learned not to go to Sherwin Williams again. Dan,Don't give up yet! Oil-based flat or semi-gloss paint is gloss paint with a flattening agent added. How much you add and mix into the paint determines how much less shiny the finish is. Ask your dealer about the flattening agent. 73, Dave Heil K8MN |
