Hi, Buck,
Well, I"m running RTTY with 2.056, with no problem, using the AUX I/O. I
set the volume to the program with the volume control for the soundcard.
The front control has no function on the I/O. Are you sure you have the TX
Audio Source in the SSB menu set to AUX and not MIC or BOTH? Then pull up
in Windows START>All Programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Volume Control and
make sure your LINE IN is enabled, or easier yet just click on the volume
control in the lower right of your monitor. If you're hooked up correctly,
LINE-IN will control the volume to the soundcard from the AUX OUT plug on
the radio.
It is possible that you're simply using the sound from the speaker through
your microphone to drive the software, because the TX Audio Source is set to
mic or both.
Hope this helps...or call me at 952 212 2664
