This was actually tested many times with several different operators. The
Scout audio favors medium lower frequencies and when coupled to the 701
produces a soft, mellow, warm tone that some people like. Others think it's
too soft and call it "mushy". It all depends on your individual ears and
what sounds good to you. The D 104 tends to favor the higher frequencies
somewhat giving the audio a crisper more balanced sound.
