Good solution to the problem and certainly and easy fix. However, I would have concerns that the station being operated as described would not thusly comply with Section 97.13(c) and the maximum permissible exposure (MPE) reporting requirements. The FCC website, www.fcc.gov/oet/info/documents/bulletins/ has the info.
