the only time i use an autotuner is when I need the one on my ts870 to get
the vswr into the tuned input of the centurion down to where the 870 won't
fold back. the centurion on some frequencies can show a high enough vswr to
make the 870 unhappy (1.5 to 2:1). the rest of the time i never use one,
preferring manual tuners instead.
