Listening to "HI-FI SSB" sounds good, provided the content is good, such as fine music that benefits from the additional frequency spectrum . But I agree with you that the additional bandwidth used in amateur radio by this mode hardly seems worth it, when considering how crowded these bands are (especially 75 & 40). Jim, wd4air I really like the sound of AM and HiFi SSB, if only it didn't consume so much bandwidth. JT, W6FO |
