No, the VOX in my O2 works fine with AUX input.  You have to set the AUX 
input for very high sensitivity -- mine is set for 75, but the exact setting 
will 
depend on the computer output level.  Rather than BOTH, I have TX Audio Source 
set to AUX.  You don't want the mic on while operating RTTY.
