Having had the Orion and now the Orion II I find out something new every time I turn the radio on. There are also many things that the manual does not cover and this reflector is a good place to find answers.

The Orion II is a bit different to use. If you come
from older 80's technology it is quite a bit more
different. Given the slightly longer learning curve
and then the cost, it is quite reasonable to expect
some people get impatient and quikly throw in the
towel.

I doubt many returned rigs have much wrong with them.

I bought a returned Orion 2 a couple of weeks' ago,

anything wrong with it.
After doing a master reset,it has performed
flawlessly by my standards.
