Tried both going to sub rec. to listen to sw stations...returned to normal
VFO A operation...no change...everything still worked as before.
Went to AM mode (haven't used it since 1985) on 3.851 into dummy load...
first time no audio out...
Went to CW and no carrier....went to AM again...worked fine...(will admit I reduced the output to 24 watts) back to CW...no carrier...did a USER 1 reload..CW back and working fine. Didn't require a reload of 2.028. Ummm.....I always save my settings in both USER 1 & 2 in case I have a time warp and hold down the USER button too long and loose what's in there.

There might be one.

Last night I was tuning the sub receiver listening to some shortwave
stations out of the Amateur bands and when I went back to the normal receive
position, I lost my transmit. It would transmit in any mode. It took a
reload of the update 2.028 to get things back to normal. I have not
returned it to the sub receiver today to see if it occurs again. I am going
to leave well enough alone for now. I have a different receiver I can use
for SWL stations. Orion II receiver is really nice to listen to them with.

OK, is it just me or is the AM mode transmit not working in version 2.028?
On my radio, the carrier spikes up to 100 watts out on the dummy load and
then drops off to nothing. The monitor is quiet and there is no apparent
modulation from the microphone input. Testing was done at 1.860 MHz.

I think AM mode is broke for transmit.
